With over 30 years in the business as an actor, director, and acting coach, turnaround is fast, as you are in the hands of a professional who has the experience to get the job done quickly and efficiently.
Clients can also be patched directly into the studio via Source Elements Source Connect, or via Zoom or Skype with a full HD Camera set up allowing you to monitor the recording session and direct Michael in the studio in real time. The booth is also equipped with an HD monitor for easy video conferencing and file sharing.
The recorded session audio files can be sent to you via Hightail or Dropbox, in any requested audio format up to 24Bit 48kHz Sample Rate.

Michael Dobson has been directing and producing demo reels for voice-over artists since 2005. Clients have travelled from as far as Los Angeles and Toronto to record their demos at his studio in White Rock, British Columbia. Michael is most often referred by clients from Vancouver's top animation studios, talent agencies and voice actors alike.

Usual turnaround for a fully produced demo is six to ten weeks per category.
All completed demos fall within the industry standard format of 2 minutes or less per category. All demos are recorded at broadcast quality specifications of 16-bit / 44.1 kHz AIFF, Stereo - the same as any store bought Music CD. Clients are also provided with an MP3 copy at 128 mbps for internet networking purposes.
All demos include full audio production including music and sound effects to deliver a first class product that showcases your talent in the best way possible. You also benefit from the direction of one of the worlds most accomplished voice over artists. Michael's hands on approach and expert direction gives you the chance of delivering your best work for one of the most important tools in your arsenal of self promotion.
You will be recording in a spacious 9' x 7' fully ventilated WhisperRoom sound isolation booth. It's a comfortable and professional working environment that enables you to relax and enjoy your studio experience.
State of the art audio equipment completes the package, which includes a modified APEX 460 Tube Microphone.
Michael will direct and record you throughout the session, making sure range and performance levels showcase your individual strengths in the best way possible. To ensure this, 30 to 45 minutes of material is usually recorded. This in turn will be filtered down to 1:30 min or to a maximum of 2 action packed minutes of back-to-back, multi-layered material. It's important that the demo moves along quickly because it's a key factor to a successful demo.
